Questions about the recipes, the meal plan, or the app.

Get in touch

Email info@biblical.recipes and we will answer. Tell us what you were doing and what happened, and if it is about the app, which iPhone and which iOS version you are on. That usually saves a round of questions.

Daniel Fast Plan & Recipes

Our iPhone app walks you through the twenty one days of the Daniel Fast: what to eat each day, the passage that belongs to it, a grocery list that adds up across the days, and a scanner that reads the ingredient list on a label and tells you whether it fits.

Your purchase

Days one to three are free, together with the food list and the 17 recipes that also appear on this site. One payment opens the rest. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Bought it and cannot see it? Open More and tap Restore purchase. The purchase is tied to the Apple Account you bought it with, so if you have more than one, check that you are signed in with the same one. Under More you will also find a line starting with App Store that says what the store told the app; if you email us, copy that line along.

Your notes and progress

Your check-ins, notes and streak live in your own iCloud. There is no account and no password: the app uses the Apple Account you already have. Get a new phone, sign in, and they are there again. We never see them.

The label scanner

The scanner reads the printed ingredient list with your camera. That reading happens on your phone and no photo is stored or sent anywhere. It gives three answers: it fits, it does not fit, or it cannot tell you for certain. That third answer is deliberate. On a fast, a wrong yes is worse than an honest I do not know.

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, but tell us what went wrong and we will fix it for the next person.

The free meal plan

Signed up and no email arrived? Check your spam folder first, then email us and we will send it straight to you.

Something is wrong with a recipe

Tell us which recipe and what you found. Every recipe here is written so you can check it: the Scripture is quoted as it stands, and where a substitution is needed to keep a dish inside a fast, the recipe names it and says what it changes. If something reads wrong, we would rather hear it than have it sit there.
